The truck was fine. When he hit the M it was up front by the anchor. Then it kinda fell from cradle. I understand the bump is under the gas tank area which may present a problem .

Gas tank? or more likely the water tank up front. There are differences in every boat, but most of the fuel tanks are near the engines.

sorry, the anchor is up front but the dent is toward the rear side 1/4. by the gas tank. it is quite small just in a bad place.

If small enough maybe you could install a vent cover over it and it would look like a intake air vent. No one would know.

I like the way you THINK ! it is below the water level. But I will pass that on. Maybe one on each side.
