Last years project wow was this fun

Stripped with pressure washer 4000psi and a month or so with a 5" orbital sander.

I also spot sand blasted corrosion and all the welds.

Chemical metal eched

4 coats of interlux 2000e (alternating colors)

2 coats Trulux 33 (will not use again)

Had to call for help for coat 4 and 5 as they went on tacky for chemical bond. Thanks for my buddy Kenny (in photos) was a huge help.

Outstanding.

Love to know the boat's name's "secret" meaning (if you don't mind).

PS: To those of you contemplating orbital sanding 'under there', Harbor Freight sells a "water sander" that eliminates the toxic dust hazard--about 60 bucks. It's an air sander with a built in pump to suck water from a bucket and keep the sanding disk wet (which greatly improves its performance as well). I use to sand fiberglass without the "fiberglass mosquitoes" biting me. Works great.
