Thanks Tracy! I hope to get it propped correctly this year if they are available or possibly go with either a bravo 2 or 3 outdrive. The used market for bravo outdrives is still quite high for my taste, and I don't have $20k to drop on a pair of new ones. I will try to get a few more pics up of her running on plane, and possibly a video, but I struggle with the technical part of uploading that stuff. I just got my garmin fuel flow meters, so I can dial in my best cruise speed/economy. I won't quit until I get my 30mph at 3,000 rpm, which in itself will provide better economy.

Hopefully they have improved them. I ran the garmin fuel meters for a few years. They warrantied them twice in the first year. After that, I replaced them one more time and then gave up.
I love my newer electronic engines with on the fly fuel information. It is surprisingly accurate. My engines computers aren't tied to the tank gauges, they are working solely off flow rate and they are usually within 2-4 gallons when I fill the boat.

Wow, super impressive. I've put a single 350 MPI, and a bravo 3 in my 32 express. I've been making some mods.
I read through this subject twice, and I did not see your new fuel consumption numbers. I may well have missed them.
I would really like to know your MPG at 29/30 MPH.

At 3k rpm while fully loaded and at 29-30 mph it burns around 24-25ish gallons an hour for 1.15 to 1.2 mpg. When I am light, it bumps up to 1.3. If I drop it the rpm to 2800 while light, I get 1.4 mpg at 27-28 mph. According to my Garmin flow meters. I have a few pics showing my running numbers that I will try to upload off my phone when I have more time.

I was able to come across the Mercury Enertia Eco 16x19 props for my Bravo 1 outdrives that I had been wanting to try. They performed as I had hoped for my speed and efficiency, but I'm still struggling with cavitation while trimming out. I will figure that out when I get a newer set of outdrives, as the ones I currently have are quite corroded and not worth sinking any money into.

LCR, I would love to see some pics of your project! And get some running figures on your set up to compare to. I was originally planning on getting a pair of 350's with either Alpha or Bravos when I came up with the idea. But it just so happened that a 454 package is what I found.

I also did end up moving the helm bulkhead forward 18 inches, shortening up my cabin. All so I could install another 130 gallon fuel tank. Bringing my total capacity to 280 gallons.

I got out for some tests. I plan to get one more test day in September, and will post pics then. My boat is a very modified 32 Express. With the Bravo 3, and a 350 mag mpi, I was getting 2 -2.2 MPG at 29 MPH, depending on the wind direction, according to my floscan.
Below : my wake at 30 MPH, and looking forward at same speed.

That's AWESOME LCR! What year is your 32? What kind of rpm for 30mph?
