new strut
new strut
So, as the countdown to launch day gets ever nearer, I am still without a starboard strut. I built a welding fixture to make struts, but have struggled to find the correct alluminum in the right sizes. I have all the stainless I need to build them that way. Anybody ever used a SS strut? Anybody have a good used one lying around? My '72 32 footer has the same strut on both sides. Tick-tock.

Re: new strut
When I had to replace mine, I bought it from John Althouse--he had the original jigs. Maybe if you phoned and could talk with his dad you might get some help.
Good luck,
