Diesel Repower 1989 32' Fisherman
Re: Diesel Repower 1989 32' Fisherman
10.5 lbs is a displacement figure, not with furnishings et al. Still, a 4k lb difference is curious.

I'd be carful with what you use to clean bare aluminum. Aluminum doesn't like high PH. If all the detergent isn't removed, as it starts to dry and increase in concentration it can reach high PH and cause pitting corrosion.

Re: Diesel Repower 1989 32' Fisherman
I am in the middle of re powering my 28' Express to Diesel and I am installing a 230 hp 4 cylinder Iveco Diesel engine. Fit the hole well had to go with the ZF45A transmition though looks good. You will never regret the diesel, you might have to increase the pitch & or the diameter pf your wheels to make up for the lower rpm. as for speed there should be no problem after adjusting you wheel size. The diesel has more torque than the gas engine.

And remember, there's a limit to wheel diameter. Too wide and it hits the hull. Bad
