318 Oil Pressure sender line

The small hose routed from the block to the oil pressure sender has been leaking. It's the small hydraulic hose with a metal spring cover. Temporarily, I replaced it with a length of fuel hose and clamps. Oil pressure is only 30 pounds so this should hold for now.
Should be replaced with a similar style hose with hydraulic fittings?

Yes. You need a hydraulic hose. Any one you buy will be strong enough.
Only 30 pounds pressure? I'd check that with a hand held gage screwed into the idiot light switch location. If it's true, I'd go to a heavier viscosity oil and some Lucas oil stabilizer.

The metal fittings are male 1/8" NPT on each end of the hose.
You could try replacing it with a grease gun hose. It's got the same size fittings and is made to handle petroleum products at high pressure.
They're about $5.
