Fridgidaire failed

Ok my Norcold OEM died in 2009. I had major sticker shock when I priced the replacement. I found a 4.2 Cubic Ft Fridgidaire that fit the space nearly perfectly. Since I have an 1800 watt inverter no problem running it underway and on the hook. It worked great until FRIDAY!
Reached in for a cold one and oops no cool. I discovered the compressor had locked up. It was warm and was kicking out the overload circuit.
Well a fire is not on my wish list.. so out it came and into the recycle bin.
So off to Lowes and found another one. Almost identical just an 1.5 deeper. Fits good but does stick out a little farther. $199 bucks.
Ok here is the tally...
Old Fridgidaire on inverter was drawing 4.5-5 amps DC
New Fridgidare on inverter now draws 3 amps DC
6 seasons: $33.34 per year. So while longevity is no where near the Norcold, unit the cost per year was acceptable.
safe boating,
dave
