am in need of new tracks for a 28 foot express - There must be something out there that could work - either new plastic or alum - any help would be appreciated

I did it once, replacing the plastic track. And, as noted above, those plastic tracks are not for the long term. Leave them if they are intact. But when it's time to replace use only metal track.

There was a post once upon a time that showed how trimming the height of one of the tracks allowed you to just lift the window up and out. At the same time, the window would stay in place under normal use. I think the amount of trim was only 1/8 or 1/4". I do not recall whether that post suggested trimming a second track for the screen. Someone else will have to dig thru the archives to find that very helpful post.

After reading all these posts on window tracks it’s obvious there
no available sorces for replacement. I would be interested in
helping in any way to secure a manufacturing company
to extrude these profiles in a large quantity.

I have some scrap aluminum track pieces you can have for pattern material and one complete piece that I would like to sell for a reasonable price. I am a little further up river in Constance KY.
