Not sure why pics get rotated to the side, but if I click on them, they straighten out.

You're really doing it! Lots of people talk a big project but...

Like I said, if I lived near you I'd be there to help out.

Jeff

PS: I just occurred to me that you might be able to mount the engines where the 360s are and use long driveshafts. I seem to recall that being done on race boats (with 3 and four engines). That would vastly improve your excessive aft weight difficulty.

I'm a lot farther along then the pics indicate. I will post a few here and there as I have time. It takes awhile for me to resize them to fit the post. Jeff, the jackshaft idea was discussed, but proved to be too involved and expensive to make it wort while for me. Many thousands of dollars to get the new bellhousings and mounts, exact length driveshaft, pillow block bearings, exhaust extensions with shutters, etc.

Very curious to see how the hull performs at planing speeds. I have experienced a 37' sedan with twin 502 Crusader inboard re-power. At high speed on a calm day 2/3 of the hull was out of the water and the steering got a little squirrelly.
Looks like a cool project. Keep us updated!!

**FYI** If you are taking progress photos with your phone, take them with the phone horizontally, not vertically. Generally the phone can format the photo properly on its screen through EXIF data. When the photos are uploaded to the forum, the EXIF data is stripped from each photo resulting in a sideways rotation.

My measurements were off when the boxes were welded in, resulting in two non parallel planes. So, cut it all out, and rethink the design.
