Marinette saves garage.

Post by seef158 »

We had a tornado come through on Tuesday night. My 28 express was on the trailer next to my garage and an ash tree 75+ feet tall fell on the boat, bad news is I'm sure the boat is a total loss, good news is the boat prevented my garage and all its contents from being crushed by the tree. I'm sure if it had been a plastic or wooden boat I would be making a homeowner's claim on top of the boat claim. I can't seem to get pics to load, but will try.....

Tuff to know what to say....
- Great that the garage was spared, along with the contents!
- Lousy that the "Big M" may be totaled!! :-(
(Garage could be rebuilt, contents salvaged and/or replenished. Big M's aren't so easily brought back. )

She led a long life and influenced many people. You do have to bury her in the backyard though.

I'm sure my wife would love that.... think I could pass it off as a play house for our son?
My pics are too large to upload....not sure how to fix that?

Just bang out the dents in the boat, it will be fine. To put pics here you need to shrink them. So go to shrinkpictures.com and you can make a little pic for your avatar too.--Ed

Your insurance company will undoubtedly total the boat and maybe you can buy it from them for small $ so you can part it out and sell the rest for scrap.

Then tell the admiral it's a message to buy a 32 . . .

If you e-mail me the photos, I'll shrink 'em and post them.
