Nice boat, love the aft cabin models. Talked with a fellow that owns a 41', told me the motors will come out the side windows if you remove glass and window tracks. Hopefully that won't be necessary. As stated by fellow M owners, try to free them up first. Good luck and welcome aboard.

Much appreciated, family drug me to the beach this week so no progress this week. As soon as I get home it sounds like plugs will come out and penetrating oil and trans fluid will be going in. Hopefully she breaks free. Fingers crossed for sure. I didn't have time to check the receipts about the engine rebuild but I will as soon as I get back home. This is the longest I've gone since getting her home from transport without being on her and I'm having withdrawals lol.

I have a 91, 41ft with 502's. I have rebuilt both and chose to slide them up the companionway on 4x8 plank, after stripping down to Short Blocks. I was afraid to screw with the window openings. Once on the Aft Deck it was easy to pick them up with a Boom.

BigM
Welcome aboard. :D
Fast Jeff's trick on using the flywheel starter rings teeth and a long screwdriver to pry on the rings teeth and the bell housing is a good start after you lubricate the engine bores. :P
Good luck

That makes two of us. I can't wait to get back next week and get the plugs pulled and some oil down the holes. I wanted to read the rebuild sheet before leaving town but that didn't happen. I will try to post some more pics soon.
