I am in the Tennessee river. I put on alum anodes and only get 8.5 on my capac. Will install magnesium next time. If you want to boost your hull protection, get the magnesium hanging anodet. That's what a lot of us do.

I saw that hanging anode on botanics.
Do you just put the clip on the swim platform or.....?

FYI
Anodes about 4 years old. Tennessee River fresh water. Capac always reads about .90. Bought magnesium guppy (throw over the side with ground clip), Capac reading went to 1.15, which is top of the scale for our boats. Clipped mine on railing and line cleats, readings all the same. :mrgreen:

Your numbers will settle down some to around .90.
Best advantage is keeps numbers in line and since Mag is lower on Noble Scale your aluminum keel/rudder anodes will have little loss.
