I have 2 identical boats that I have ripped down to the metal and put back together. You are much more educated than I am when it comes to boats. If I can help you, it would be to tell you to get it on dry land, get the boat painted, the engine refreshed, cabin to your liking before you drop it in. The clock starts ticking on the bottom paint as soon as you get it in and you don't need to finish the job and have to pull it again for more bottom paint
