Thank to every one for their replies. I looked at the 85 with the single 350. Disappointing to say the least. Don't misunderstand me, loved the boat as far as lay out and such. It was just filthy and required more work than the price allowed. I wont go into details. I do believe I will be going with a single.

Smart move. Maneuvering an inboard with one engine is "challenging".

I'm looking at Bennett trim tabs and considering the 36" X 12". They're designed for slower boats e.g less than 15 MPH. The sweet spot for our boat is 2200 RPM at about 12 MPH.
The typical size would be 30" X 9".

Single's are simpler to maintain, but if you've never docked a single screw inboard, with the wind and/or tide against you....
