We just purchased a boat and after much research we learned there is a bridge that is only 9' down river from our marina. Will the boat clear this bridge or do I need a different marina?

You will need more than 9.

My 28 express (no flybridge) needs 9.5 feet of bridge clearance and that's if I fold down all my flags and antenna.

A 32 flybridge will be a couple feet taller.

My 32 ft express flybridge with canopy needs 16 ft
Look for a marina that doesn't have a bunch of old run down boats that may have voltage leaking into the water

Thanks for all the information everyone. We did some more research and our navigational maps online were outdated and they have replaced that bridge since the maps were made. Thank goodness. We were sweating bullets.
We are taking off from Detroit area up to Cheboygan and the inland waterway on May 13th.
We will post pics and information as we go.

My 32 express f.b. is about 16' as week to antennas and Bimini.

So what did the height turn out to be on the new span?

There bridge in question was just above the lock in Cheboygan and it is now 20'. Bimini and antennas will probably have to go down, so I don't worry but we will clear with room to spare.
