I thought the boat market was on fire with high prices. What a great classic boat for a wonderful price. This short term gas price is going to kill the boating this year. We’ve enjoyed our boat for over 10 years with flat depreciation. Put a few grand in it here and there. Still a lot of good times for little money. My ROI is great!!!

Update:

I met a very nice young gentelmen at the boat today. Great to see younger folks that appreciate old school craftmanship.
While pending, it looks like there will be a new owner of my Big M. soon. He is a member of our forum so give him a shout out.

As much as I hate to let her go,the upside is fresh enthusiasim and I am sure they will continue to enjoy her beyond my ability to do so.

I am not leaving boating, just going to spend more time enjoying the other boats I have.

LIke Fast Jeff, I will still remain active on this forum and willing to provide whatever assistance to other Big M owners I can.

My 29 Sedan has a new skipper today. I had 17 great years with her and she never let me down. The boat will be moving to Watts Bar on the TN river. Great to see younger folks take an interest and appreciate the quality of our Big M's !

Gave up my slip today😩 New skipper moved it out.
Best of luck she is a great boat.

Miss her but not the $500+ fuel bill to fill her up.

Boat traffic has fallen off this spring. Fuel will be near $6 a gal soon at marinas.

Tourism drop will really hurt our local businesses.

Sounds like the end of a very good chapter Dave, and not the last chapter in the book.
