Gave up on mine...installed old mechanical tank gauge. I have to read at the tank but that forces me to open the hatch and check things out.

You mean you have to open the cockpit hatch and get down in there to see how much gas you got?

When I replaced mine, I used a wooden stick (and some math) to determine the fuel level. I then set the gages on 'E' with about 15 gallons of fuel left in the tanls.
Why? Have you ever been stuck with a car, at night, in a strange place with the gage nearing 'E'?
