I spent years restoring our 28 Express 318 single. We are down in the Florida Keys (Marathon) and I'm forced to sell her quick so we can get back to Ohio. Need 6K, with custom goose neck trailer (you will need a pickup truck with 5 wheel hitch to tow - I will supply goose neck hitch). Starts, runs good. Pristine engine now has surface rust (breaks my heart). She Sat in storage for 6 years and deck cover failed. Water damage (soft spots) to new deck. Will need to redo back edge of deck. Work needed to get cosmetics back. Engine/trans only 28 hrs since rebuild 7 years ago...starts runs well. Can help with a liveabord slip here in the Keys (we lived aboard her 8 months). I have original seat tracks back in columbus, ohio
I'm really hoping she will go to a good home/ family that will cherish her. Lots of energy spent on this boat. I just cant afford to get her back to Ohio from FL Keys now.

Pilgrim...I hope you have a speedy sale. I've sent to a couple of folks that have been looking around a bit. Don't know how serious, but I informed them the price is exceptional. I have been restoring a 28 for a couple of years now and seeing your great photo record is inspiring and shows dedication and apparently, great work to match and a VERY good value considering all the work and $ you have invested.

I wish you the best and will let you know if I hear back. Kind regards, Eric/Decatur, Georgia WHISPER

Would you have any interest in selling just the trailer. I just purchased a 28 express without one. Thanks, hope you're able to move it soon.

My 28 was truly a bard boat for most of its life. The farmer in indiana I bought it from built a goose neck roller bunk trailer, The boat weight on a single is like 5500lbs, My trailer weights something like 3300lbs! This make her a 8,800 lbs tow. This is the MAX CAP ON MY 2500 DODGE. But I gotta tell ya, if you could get a goose neck in aluminum it would be well worth it. I can turn this 38" of boat and trailer on a DIME! See my photo bucket links above. If I end up keeping the boat and taking her back to Ohio, I will sell you the trailer as I will buy a lighter one for the 1300 mile trip. Where are you located/

Pilgrim,
Thanks for the reply but the trailer may be more than I care to haul. I'm in Tennessee and close to 1,000 miles away.
