rub rail vinyl?

I have a 1985 39 Marinette looking for the vinyl drip rail that goes into the stainless rail around both gunnels? thanks Wally D

I have seen people use a product similar to this before

You loosen the screws for aluminum or stainless rub rail and slip the vinyl between the rub rail and the gunnel (gunwale) then tighten as you go.
Works better with two people
My Marinette the rub rail is made out of aluminum.
The thinking behind the vinyl is that the water and dirt will drip off the edge of the vinyl and into the water instead of on the side of the hull thus not leaving those darn black stricks running down the hull.
There are a lot of different colors and widths available

This is a vinyl drip edge that runs along the gunnel, uline sells packing materials.
