Deep cycle battery

With all of the new technology In batteries I'm wondering what folks are running?

2 new in April. No problems. Dual Pro charger keeps them on top.

What all do you run off of these batteries and how long do they last before they need to be recharged?
Dumb question. In looking at the Dual Pro there are different charging bank options. Would assume each bank/battery?

I use deep discharge batteries (for the inverter) and have learned (the hard way) that each battery needs its own, dedicated charger. One charger servicing two batteries means one will be fine while the other craps out. That also means keeping the Perko switch in position 1 or 2 (not All).

For my stbd engine and house batteries I have two six volt golf cart batteries in series.
dual bank charger keep on all the time year around at dock.
Going on six seasons working great. Will probalby swap out next season.

Charging two batteries in SERIES is fine; just not in parallel.

Had two 12 volts on port with A.C.R.
never worked well. A.C.R. stopped engaging so no backup.

Last fall we put four six volt batteries (Full River Batteries AGM) and hooked them up in series and parallel for our "house" source of power. This group of batteries serves 98 per cent of all 12volt devices on our boat including the starboard motor. My generator has its own car like battery and the port engine has one too. Ms port also has all the navigation lights hooked up to it. All of our batteries are AM type. The house battery has covered our needs for 12 volt power including long weekends away from the dock. This includes the refrigerator, 800 amp stereo,lights,head, but no inverter. They are charged by a 50 amp smart battery charger from Promariner model called (Pronautic 1250 P). It is a three bank charger so it charges each battery individually. So far it has worked perfectly! Dead batteries are no fun! We have a generator so we fire it up to run the microwave and make coffee.
