1987 32 FB Sedan for sale

Post by Rockxx »

In checking Nashville craigslist today I found a new listing that happens to be docked across from me at Center Hill Marina. I know the boat, and the owner, and can vouch for both. Original from the factory with brown trim, thus its name, Brown Eyes.
Anyone looking for an exceptional boat should check this one out.
Nashville Craigslist listing 5469061283.

If the boat has fresh new crate engines it would certainly be worth the price.
Rebuilt 318's well not so much.

There seems to be a wide interpretation of what a "rebuilt" engine is. :)

Lots of 318's out there, they are a good engine. Ten years ago I looked for new engines and found that you can't get a reverse rotation 318 new. Lots of new or rebuilt standard rotation engines. The only reverse rotation would be rebuilt, and then they would try to find all the pumps and manifolds and other parts to build up an engine. And then I would have an engine that was hard to get parts for. Found Chevy 350 (Crusader ) in stock and much cheaper. Also for $1,000.00 each I got new Velvet drive transmissions included, with a warranty. Also cheaper than rebuilding the old ones. If I had to do it now I would consider a different transmission that would reverse the rotation and run two standard engines. I wanted to keep it simple and try to keep the cost down to something that was bearable. I'm realistic and admit it's an expensive hobby.---Ed

Its impossible to keep it 'simple'. That's why I now have a 19 foot bow rider that I can repair in my garage.
