Anyone here have trouble with their tab actuators jamming in the down position and if so what causes it and how do you fix and or prevent it from happening?
Also the tab system is boat leveler if that helps

Re: trim tabs
Stuck (or plugged) relief valve in the hydraulic power unit. You might cure that nonsense by hitting them with carb cleaner. Or buy new ones from Bennett--nice people to work with.

I concur! The folks at Bennett go way out of their way to assist their customers. They have on many occasions provided replacement parts at little or no cost for units that have been out of warranty for decades!Fastjeff wrote:Stuck (or plugged) relief valve in the hydraulic power unit. Oh i agree hands down they even have some wonderful troubleshooting videos on YouTube. Spent some time searching around might be the port actuator solenoid either sticking or not working at all but i know where to start looking now just irritating that they seem to foul up every couple years

Re: trim tabs
Typical! Blame it on mechanical things when it's a stinkin' electrical problem!
