Hi Carl,

I know this post is a bit dated but can I ask where you got your panel made? It looks great!

Carl,
Also - is your new panel backlit to display the lettering at night?

I put together a drawing detailing the layout then I had a local sign shop help me layout and laser cut all of my new panels. I told them what I wanted where on the panel and they had them to me in just a few days. Bring your panels in to a local shop near you and start the conversation with them, hopefully they can fabricate them for you. I backlight my panels with a LED strip light, they come in a variety of lengths, mine are 6" long. Using a LED strip light eliminates all of those incandescent bulbs the factory installed.

Sanded, primed with three sprayed coats of "Interlux Brightside Steel Grey". Thanks to a Big Hearted fellow forum member Wayne (Dependo).

Starting to fit out the bridge. Steam cleaned and coated the underside with white Interlux BilgeKote paint, it looks better then the bare aluminum and will be easier to keep clean but I did it primarily so that when I need to open the cavity to access the wiring and components under there it will be brighter and easier to work in with a flashlight. New gauge dash panels installed, new horn button, Bennett trim tab switch panel, auxiliary dual USB outlet port and new ignition fuse holders. I did away with the original toggle switch ignition and installed keyed ignition switches.

Horn, AM/FM Antenna, Handrails (2), Anchor Light and VHF Marine Radio Antenna Mounts (2) installed today. Additionally you will see four stainless bow eyes, one in each corner of the fly bridge, these are permanent and in place to rig the bridge onto and off the boat. Underneath the bases of the handrail standoffs you will see my Starboard insulators installed to separate the dissimilar metals stainless and aluminum.
