Mice moved in

A few Mice moved into my boat for the winter. It was a short stay. I had two ropes from the deck hooked to the trailer ratchet strap. That was probably the route in. They don't climb up the hull but any help you give them such as with ladders, hanging ropes can result in huge nests come spring. I laid out enough traps in the building and on the boat to catch them. I also stuffed rags in the exhaust pipes. I need to figure something to plug up the air intakes into the hold.

Use steel or brass wool to plug the intake and thru hulls. perhaps you can remove the vent cover screws and then fasten some heavy screening in place

I use cheap foam sponges cut to size to fit real tight. Just add removing them to your checklist for the spring
