Well after 15 years of drag racing I finally bought a boat. It's a 37 double cabin. Smart move! You'll relax a bunch more boating than racing--and that's from one who knows.

What year 37 footer did you buy?

Starboard side--that's the nice one! Bet you have a queen-sized bed in the aft cabin?

Where will you be keeping the new boat ??? I'll have to look you up on the next Cincy trip. Pier 99 where I am at is a nice 60 to 70 mile run with no locks to deal with and we always have nice deep water transient slips available, many times under roof too. A lot of people plan to come down from Cincy or up from louisville to visit during the " HOT " months on weekends. mile 530 back in Craigs Creek, and just one mile above markland lock and dam.

I am still sitting on my race car as well but have boated most of the years too. I have just parked the car and been using the boat every weekend this summer and I will not be going back to racing. The boat provides more and less strenuous entertainment at a lot lower cost. No looking back.

We are keeping it at Four Seasons. We will be heading to Aurora for the farmers festival in October but that's as far as we are going. The stress level is a whole lot lower than racing, you got that rite...
