Is that what you pay for a slip down there; $290?

Yes, Jeff. Is that a lot for a covered slip w/ water & security gate? Also free pump out station.I'm cheap like you, but don't have any money buried in the back yard. I don't want to pay too much. There is more demand than supply now because a lot of boaters are moving their boats off lake Lanier to the Tennessee River. Six more weeks to spring! wayne

Let me make you feel reeeeeally good! A typical slip fora 32 footer on the Chesapeake Bay run over $3,000--some close to $4,800. (I found a nice one for $1,700, but that's me.)

Feel good?

I pay $2350, in Port Clinton, OH. That's just for the summer.

I do have a swimming pool, that I never use ;)

Our outside winter storage runs about 800 bucks. Is that comparable?

The Great DUX vs. Dink Boat Race will be held someday. Poor Louis has had so many big boat problems--as I have--that such trivialities have to wait.

For me this is has been an advantage, for the engine power on my dink has gone from a 9.8 to a 16, then a 20, and now a 50 hp motor! A few more years and there'll be a (secret) hp. motor back there.

Our slips are condos so we rent from the owners (who have been planning on buying a boat for years). We pay about $4000 for the season for a 41 ft slip with electric, water, a pool, jacuzie and weekly pumpouts at your slip.
