My 1978 Sedan Bridge has a porthole, approx 6" x 12" exclusive of the mounting flange located in the bulkhead that forms the lower vertical portion of the bow seat and lets light and some air into the V berth. It has a crack in the mounting flange and seems to be letting in water to the Vberth ceiling panels and down the wall panels. Looks like previous owner sealed the protruding part of the port where it meetes the mounting flange with silicone. Any idea who manufactured these units? if they are still around? if I can get a new one? a used one? Looks like the same port is on both sides of the V berth in the hull just below rub rail, so I may trade this one for one of them if nneed be. The hull shape keeps rain out of those two ports. As always, any help is appreciated.

It is possible that leak is in the main skylight/hatch over the berth, but it doesnb't seem likely the way the moisture is accumulating. I get condensation on the frame of that hatch in the fall and it drips on whoever is under the hatch, but it doesn't seem to leak. It takes a really hard rain to create the leak, wherever it is

Had a similar leak there. That window will leak if you don't have the screen in place.
The outer ring of the screen is rubber which is clamped down by the two plastic screws.
My screen was missing so I used one of the v-berth screens. Problem solved.

I believe the ports are made by Beckson.

My screen is dislodged, actually re4placed by me by tucking a new screen piece in gasket after grandkids "opened" screen to pass stuff in and out when their cousins were on the boat. Gotta love 'em!The rubber gasket to it is still there and the inside panel bolts tight , so the leak may be from elsewhere. Thanks, I will maybe try the good old hose spray test.

And here, all along, I wished my 85 had that port hole.
