I just made myself a "winterizing bucket". Don't know why I didn't think of it before.Think, maybe you guys have.
1 1/4 " plastic to threaded pipe, a threaded valve + a hose fitting E6000 inside & out. Remove hose from sea strainer, connect to bucket, fill with "Pink stuff" open valve & start engine. Applause Applause

Nice work :)

I assume you are going to remove the t-stat and drain the block/mufflers first?

IF it's a raw water cooled motor! Made that mistake on advising a guy with FWC motors. Embarrassing!

These engines have closed cooling system with a heat exchanger, this is just for the fresh water side.
This year I have a special problem in that I have a heat exchanger leaking. ( fresh water into the closed cooling system) I have to drain down the block & refill the engine with Regular antifreese, after running the RV antifreeze into the fresh water system.

Roger: looks like a nice setup. But I wonder why you needed that with a FWC system? I just open the strainer and pour in three gals of AF while the engine is running. During the last gal, I start to fog the engine and try to choke it off right at the tail end of the water supply. Every year, it's exactly 3 gals before pink stuff (now green stuff) exits the exhaust. And, no hoses to loosen.

These are diesels so no fogging. It's very confined space with gen set between the engines, this just makes it easier, don't have to fill strainer & hose to thru hull shut off.
