I applied DuraBak to my stripped and primed deck in 2008. It has execellent non-slip qualities but I am questioning how it will hold up to gasoline spills that are not wiped up right away. http://www.nonslipcoating.com/

Used for the walk around area of your deck similar to "DURABACK". I have not used this product, I have used "DURABACK" and have problems with it... Bev and Bill Clayton ALUMINATION 1975 37' Marinette Fly Bridge Sedan Twin 340 Chrysler 250 hp Grosse Ile, MI Lake Erie

I painted my topsides with interlux Briteside this summer. The Briteside system includes a non-skid additive which works very well. I put two coats with non- skid on the cabin roof (under the flybridge) and on the swim platform. I sealed the walk around deck with interlux 2000 and topped it with one thick coat of Briteside with flattener. All the pinholes and crack are filled in and the fairing is sealed off good. I am going to tape off a walkway and put another coat of Briteside with non-skid on that deck.
Before I screwed it down I took the new cockpit deck to a Rhinoliner dealer and had it coated with light grey non-skid. It was a great solution and I will never need to deal with a rotten deck again. Later I took some sailboat parts to the same place and the results were not as good. The coating lifted in some places. If you do this get a guarantee.
