Hello all,

I've been workin' on kicker motor remote steering stuff:
>Mounted an UltraFlex 132-OBS side mount hydraulic cylinder
>Made steering link from 3/8" SS all-thread and got the heim joint from McMaster-Carr
>Ordered 2 hydraulic control valves (Hydraforce SV08-20M w/manual override)
>In the process of hooking up hoses and controls
Here is the hydraulic steering project post.

Also ran 2 cables for remote start, stop, tilt and mounted the control switches in the vacant holes on the shore power breaker panel. And while I had everything torn apart, decided to put a AC current and a DC volts meter (kicker) there too.

ALMOST DONE…

Dennis,
Looks like you got your project well in hand.
I have a question about the ( shore power breaker panel ). Is it original to your Marinette ? Sure like it.

Yes, it is original. The name plate above the panel was a Christmas gift from the Admiral. She found a blank BigM plate on eBay and had it engraved. Thanks Beth!

You'll have bad times, but they'll just wake you up to the good times you weren't paying attention to

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way.I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

That is the kicker's remote throttle control made by Magma Inc.
The ConTrollKing is what every serious fisherman needs to improve their success rate. ConTrollKing is designed to compliment any of the remote steering systems that are available to the avid fisherman. The installation is designed so as not to interfere with your motor's normal, manual throttle control. You will have your choice of adjusting your motor speed using either manual controls or the ConTrollKing. With ConTrollKing installed on your gasoline trolling motor, you can adjust your trolling speed to obtain that ideal lure action necessary to catch fish while others watch.
