Does anyone know where to find the original cockpit seats? They were single seats but extra wide with a back rest supported by two flat bent aluminum plates it appears. I think they were side wall attached with an inner side aluminum bent down to the floor. I have been searching the net forever it seems and can't find them. Thanks.

Mine rotted out. I replaced the plywood seat and back and that rotted out too. So now i have plastic seats and back. I couldn't find originals either. The slide track is there but not the mounting hardware. I had to add brackets to the bottom of the seats. I left about two inches overhang ( or in this case under? ) Then drilled through those tabs and ran long bolts with many large washers in the existing channel.

It's tuff to do engine work with the seats hanging down. So if I'm in there for a while, I have to remove the seats. Design a good hing system so that the outboard side of the seat is supported, it will still slide fore and aft and doesn't wiggle while underway and you've got something every Marinette owner will envy.
