Not much similarity between these guys and Sdog's project - I have actually seen her and she is better looking than any of the boats around her. Works, too, getting decent speed for her power. I started a movie of the interior with the man himself narrating, but had camera troubles so there is nothing to post.
I think the biggest disappointment is the failure to plane fully, but that is all by the numbers, and a cat is fast without planing fully. I remember a friend of mine buying a go-fast boat, and I told him that everyone goes 15 knots offshore and no more because it's offshore, not the river. So we took her over to Andros to visit friends of mine, and had two 400+ cubic in engines going - 15 knots. On the way home he destroyed the boat, but that's another story....
