I'd be interested in hearing how well that paint holds up. What we used tends to acquire skid marks from the chairs and it ticks the wife off!

Jim ,I think you might be referring to the eye pads I installed for anchoring the cockpit canvas enclosure down.I have clips on each outside corner of the canvas and clips on each inside corner of zippered door.I have been inside the cockpit canvas enclosure with 50 mph winds outside and rain blowing sideways and those anchor points held !

For what? I'm confused. (It gets worse with age.)

Great Job,

Did you find some T moulding to put around those hatch covers? I still got wood covers. I would like some Aluminum T moulding to screw into the sides rather than that flat stainless trim which I cut my arm on.

If you put down aluminum over plywood, it can be 1/8 " and maybe a bit less for the wood does the work. The hatch has to be at least 1/4 " (or 1/8 with bracing) or it flexes too much.

I was in a Mexican place called Chipotle last night, and I noticed that the tables are 1/8" aluminum glued over a pretty substantial piece of plywood. Looked like good hatch material. I was going to jump up and down on one to see how strong it is, but I was afraid they would throw me out....

I hope they didn't steal that from my cockpit deck! That's what we have now.
