Actually, I need LESS boats to fix! Being "retired" again (4 times now) and having an interest in old Merc outboards, I posted an add on Craig's List, offering my services to repair them. Well! I was inundated with old Mercs and even a 18 foot Mercruiser rig, so much so that I had to remove the add just to get MY stuff ready!

Here's photos of what the garage looked like for weeks. Only 4 of the motors are mine, and several more are out of the scene.

The table saw with the large blade? I've never used on of those on an outboard !

Really? I used it just recently to make a power head spacer for a conversion project. Cut a half inch section off the top of a driveshaft housing. If you look carefully, you can see the homemade spacer below the power head.
