any one know where to get foam like M used w/rounded edges. want to make new cushions for salon,that look original,,just finished installing my new curtains,came out looking great.

Bill, most any good uphoistery shop can do the job. That rounded edge is a cord that is sewn in to give it a neat smooth uniform look. Just had mine done, 4in. deluxe marine foam with 2in. excel on top for that little more comfort. There are a few pics of them on boat pics... Knot Normal. I had new made, Vberth cushions tapered to match the hull, nice fit and really makes a difference and galley. Like anything else you need to ask and check uphoisters and see there work before making a decision.

The bull nose style edges are created by gluing 1" thick foam over a square edged 4" core and wrapping the 1" piece over the edges of the thicker core piece, both top and bottom, and joining the 1" piece edges on the edge of the 4" piece. Think shoe box with a lid for both top and bottom, where the sides of the lid meet in the middle of the box.

On the foam edging if U R doing it yourself take the pad out start at one corner of the radius & carefully peel it back it’s only glued on. On mine the glue was dried up & it peeled away fairly easy & I reused it on the new foam. The glue for the foam can be bought at most better fabric stores. Have U tried Rainbow canvas shop just down the rd. from where U are moored. They do great work & at a fair price Shhh

Hi Norm, still in oscoda,i'll ckeck the foam again, looked like solid cushion w/no glue ons, i could be wrong. Rainbow close to closing down,they want to retire from work, they only will do repairs,no new work, tried to get them to do new curtains to no avail.Where are you located in ludington? getting any fish?Rainbow has done lots of great work for me in past i.e. exterior canvas. did find a site that sells different styles foam[foamfactory.com] located in marlettte,mi.

Ok my stop by after the 4th if U R gunna B around we can have a Brewski & tell boat Liar No I've just moved the One Too Many back on the East side of the state can’t afford the high dockage & winter storage fees. Great fishing but $$$$ ran out to quick. Just moved it back yesterday going back up to Caseville to put F/B back on Fri. & put the O T M up for $ale. U know any one looking for a turn key ready BigM Sure hate to Boo hoo!

buy a slip where i.m at ... save lots....cheap maybe 4-5 thous. 575 fees and taxes , in 165 out 165[ you 180] free storage in marina. you own the slip deeded., many availiable
