Thanks: 3 times
Can someone please tell me where the sump
pump in the shower/head is located. Is it right
behind the in/out switch on the forward wall
of the head? 1986 32BigM sedan bridge.

Thanx,

Norb

Norb...in the 88 sedan bridge, it's under the floor immed as you step past the sliding door into the v-berth area. Access may be covered by a piece of carpet (abut 2' x 2'). Once you lift the carpet, you'll readily see the sliding wood floor panels over the sump. BTW, if you have air conditioning, the condensate should be routed to drain into the shower sump - many are and it works well in this arrangement. Make sure you keep the sump pump switch on while you are running the AC.

Just for the record, a functioning shower sump system is important in an aluminum boat! The alkaline solution of soap and water will pit the hell out of the hull if it's not pumped overboard.

Just ask Big Guy Craig. His old 28 footer was eaten up in the bow area, and from the inside.
