1. bilge monkey
a crusty punk who lives on a boat and enjoys dumpster diving and sex with fat chicks. typically is very handy with mechanical work and doesn't mind crawling into the nastiest oily bilge water to retrieve a pair of glasses or a screw driver. often found drinking pbr and yelling for no reason.
look at that bilge monkey, he has salt and motor oil in his dreadlocks. someone should give him a bath

The BilgeMonkey(tm) is the most cost-effective solution to accessing parts of engine room which were never meant to be accessed, even though you are required to access them. As you know, your boat builder's staff is a group of frustrated sadists whose only outlet is designing ways to keep you from doing routine tasks on your boat such as changing the oil filter. Sure, they could have put the filter on the side or front of the motor, but with a few extra bends and machine work, they can place it in the rear then cram the motor under the deck before the hull is capped.

BilgeMonkeys are fully insured by the Simian Worker's Union against rabies, job injuries, and damage from flung fecal matter.

To solve the PETA problem we include a box of granola and some Birkenstocks to use as bait for the idiot protestors. Throw them in shark infested waters and let the fish take care of the rest. The PETA people will "bond" and "become one" with the friendly sharks. It's a win-win for everyone.

The charges for your BilgeMonkey include delivery and pickup, but you must supply the bananas, peanuts, and wholesome entertainment. You must not allow your BilgeMonkey to watch National Geographic or Animal Planet, as they might learn how the other monkeys live on welfare in zoos and don't have to work. Due to strict regulations from the Simian Union your monkey must only work 8 hours per day with a 1 hour break to eat, sling poo, and pick his nose (not necessarily in that order).
