Capt Brent That reminds me of when I had a bad key switch on my fly bridge. The key would stick in the start position. I once ran that way for about a half hour. I smelt the hot starter when I went into the cabin. After stopping the engine. I looked into the engine compartment and could have sworn I saw the starter glowing. It was that hot. I let it cool down for a couple of hours and she started right back up. Talk about being bullet proof. I kept that boat for four more years, of course I did change that bad key switch as soon I got home. By the way this happened at PIB Ohio...
