I made an insulator for my rudder from a piece of plastic porch rail from Lowes. Rudder shaft is 1" Diameter, this shaft when squared is only 3/4 ", so needs a 1/8 spacer on 4 sides to fit the 1" square steering arm. I hope I can attach the pictures to show what I'm talking about. I can't seem to attach picts. Email me if interested.
