Clark ,
Got a friend with a 32 ft. fisherman , i think thats what they call it ? Two piece canvas top over the helm .
He had a rear transom seat made , I think its permanent, plus two smaller side seats that are not. The sides are about 4 ft. or so long for each side. I thought they looked good and seated everone well. Had 5 Marinettes all tied together for a labor day bash plus 10 others boats.
I think i'll see Bill next week and ask him if he had them made locally or what. When i find out i'll post what he says. might try to get some pics if i can.

I have one I am not using, probably too expensive for shipping I can make a stencil on paper and send it to you. It is just flat aluminum w/ two doors for access to storage below.

Meltonhill, How is the top piece fastened to the hull. Is it fastened to some angle pieces screwed to the inside of the transom? Is there a front piece? How much do you want for it? How long is it? I may be able to strap it to the top of my suburban. thanks for the info. My email is ogden@dishmail.net

I purchased one from a fellow site member and had it shipped from near Cleveland to Charleston, WV and, as I recall, the shipping cost was about $90. I had looked into having one made. I went as far as to take apart a friends seat and trace it onto paper and when I went looking for materials, then figured in paint, special brackets to match the ones that were original, then the teak trim + my time, the cost of a frabricated one was going to be about $1000.00+. Shipping is probably cheaper than driving. Just my experience, for what its worth.
