This post updates the one below to explain it actually IS possible easily to post photos on the site directly from your computer without first having to post them at a photo sharing web site. That will work, of course, but this is simpler. Jeff Perry helped me work thru the steps which I had been doing in the wrong order, ending in having to show pix as "attachments" not as graphics seen right in your message. It's a basically two or three-step process.

1 - first requirement is that you must use a small or shrunken file size -a 72 dpi image no more than 1024x768 pixels. The site will probably take a larger image but it will be difficult for your fellow site users to see without having to scroll across the page. You will just piss everyone off (a technical photography term). Other posts here explain different ways to radically downsize your pics.

2- Create a message and enter the text (such as "here's a picture of my new mermaid")...and hit POST to enter the message. Oh, you will probably want to check "watch this topic" down below and to the left so you' get an automatic email notification if anyone replies to your post.

3- After the message is created and posted, you will note an ATTACH box above it, to the right. Click on ATTACH, then click on BROWSE to open your computer file system and navigate to the image (remember, small files only). Highlight the file and hit 'Open' in the file listing window. Hit 'Upload' and you'll see the file appear on the left side. Hit 'Back' and you'll be where the posting and photos show up. You may load a bunch of images sequentially in this manner.

You'll have bad times, but they'll just wake you up to the good times you weren't paying attention to

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way.I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.
