Met Alan last year here in Fl. Has a house down in Ft Pierce, He tied up next to me in one of his Other boats he has 24 all Antiques!! That cruise he was on a 90 ft Burger called the Neeon Rainbow, she was beautiful also had another captain following him on a 32 Prowler on a cruise down the St. Johns river. Our seasonal blind misqutoes ran them out and back south. He is a very down to earth Guy and runs his own boats a lot. Got a tour of his boat and have a pic of my wife in his bed!!! Glad I was there to SAVE HER!!! Sorrydog

Any man that restores aluminum boats and pilots them himself has got to be down to Earth.

Applause isn't that beautiful. wow. As soon as I can save about 10 million dollars walkin around money, I think I will buy it for 5 mil and use the other 5 mil for upkeep and that dreaded word "fuel".

I once looked at a '60s 72' Burger in all original condition that finally sold for about $250,000. Everything worked. Sadly, my social security check had not yet arrived that month so I was unable to buy her.....

The owners of my former marina bought a semi-burnt out 92 foot Burgher to fix up. Been working on it for years. John (one of the owners) personally replaced over 35 windows and even took an interior carpentry course to improve the interior he and the wife designed and are installing. Has twin MU diesels. Sweet!

That's her in the background behind our aluminum wonder.

FastJeff, your boat looks GREAT!! But your dock would not meet OUR LOCAL,CODE ,HERE IN FLORIDA!! We make um a LOT WIDER, so we can navigate down them after dark, When the local Brewery closes!! Comes in handy, We got some Really BIG LIVE GATORS here, that like to hang out!! Kinda makes me nervous when I fall in!!! These things would make even Doc tighten up!!! Sorrydog

That's our old marina. It was not only narrow but unsteady.
