Does anyone have an original seat for the back of my 28" Express? It is curved to fit the inside transom arc and goes all the way across. I spoke to a member a year or so ago that had one and wanted to sell it but he either sold it to someone else or possibly didn't want to bother with the shipping, either way we lost contact. The original owner of my boat took it out for fishing space and eventually got rid of it. Any help in locating one is greatly appreciated.. Thanks!

i have a friend up in ohio that has a transom seat for a marinette.....he isnt sure what size boat it came out of but is positive it came from a marinette (his uncles boat) if i remember right, its just the top part, with a couple of hatches built in for access underneath, i dont think the "front side wall" is with it.......let me know if your interested in talking to him about it, he offered it to me a week ago for crazy cheap, but the shipping to north carolina was too much for me http://theboaters.com/bo...te/express/1964/MHYZHEN
One more busted knuckle and i'll have a complete set !

Thanks MYZHEN! I just received an email from the member I spoke to last year about it and he still has it. We're looking into the arrangements for shipping now. If that falls through I definitely would like to take a look at what you're friend has. Will let you know ASAP and thanks again! Nightmoves, If all else fails that is my plan, just thought I'd try to get the original 1st, my fabrication skills arent the best!Lol

MYZHEN, I also am in need of a transom seat for a 28 express. If you still have contact with your friend, I would be interested even if it only the top. All the brackets and frame would be nice, but I think I could fabricate any missing parts. Thanks

Hi, I have an original transom seat with top, front, most additional brackets, and the piece of wood trim (teak?) that fits and original 28' express still available. Drop me an email. I can ship from where I work.
