The trouble with getting old, There is a lot of info in memory, I either can't find it or don't trust it if I do!

A Great looking yacht is how I’d classify it now, from the first pix I’ve seen of it when U first started on it a couple of seasons ago. U’ve put in a lot of Labor of Love into it. Again The Surface Interval is looking incredibly Great .Whistle and I ain't whistling Dixie :d/

I especially love the powder-coated aluminum trim. Love to do that to mine.

Awesome job! I don't know if I would want anyone to be dragging scuba gear around on her.

But speaking of powder coating... I have all this deck hardware off my 26' Sportsman that I looked at having re-chromed, WOW was that an expensive look! I have already sand blasted the pieces and some are badly pitted but some are not. I am now looking at buying new and having to re-drill the deck holes or powder coating. Questions I have are, 1) will the powdercoating hold up on a mooring bit and dock cleats? 2)what can I fill the pits with? 3) what color should they be coated?

beautiful job. It shows what you can do with an old boat that has so much potential.

Thanks to all for the kind words.

Wayne: I will get you a picture showing the low profile Carrier after it is installed this spring. The one in this picture has been removed and was sold.

ComputerJoe: I really don't know how much constant wear the powder coating will take. You can use JB Weld or epoxy to fill the pits. That could be a new post.

I forgot to mention that the air intake panels, fixed window frames (4), windshield frames and hinges were powder coated 'sky white'.

Thank you. We usually make 3-4 trips (Friday thru Monday) each summer. Have to tow on weekdays during daylight only because she is wider than 8 1/2'. Just came back from a 8 night trip to Mackinac City. Got 9 mpg for the 525 mile round trip.

Our employer (GM at LDT) has us working most of the Saturdays this summer.

TOWING COMPONENTS
2008 Chevy 1/2 ton 5.3L 4X4 crew cab with built in brake controller, Timbren suspension enhancement system, Loadmaster tandem axle twin I beam aluminum trailer with electric brakes on all 4 wheels, Swift Hitch wireless backup camera system, heavy duty custom made guide ons, PowerWinch RC30 with wireless remote control, posi-lube removable spindles.
