Spent an enjoyable afternoon having lunch with Doug Rose at River City Brewing Company Rest/ Marina today as he was passing thru jacksonville, Fl. where I keep Sorrydog moored. YOU ALL SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE TO PROTECT YOURSELVES!!!!!! NOT REALLY!! We found LOTS of things to discuss and pretty girls to look at!! Hey! Were in Florida!!! Gave Doug the BIG tour of Sorrydog!! Showed him up close the coating of LIPSTICK I PUT ON HER!!! Also showed him the underwater lights DiverDennis and I bought, (just got my 2 new ones in)!! Had a GREAT TIME!!! Liked doug's laid back attitude and enjoyed his imput on helping me solve some of my Risor problems. Also checked out my SeaAlloy Zincs!! Even let Doug PEEK under my FIQUREHEADS BRA!!! On the front of my BOAT!!! Dougs welcome back anytime for a stay and have a brew! Doug left for G-man land in Alexandria, Va. I consider myself fortunate that I have now met 3 members of the Marinette Forum. On my latest trip to Chattanogga, Tenn met Wayne and Jon!! Where I was welcomed with open arms and many opened brews!!! All you guys are ALWAYS WELCOME HERE!!! Great Forum and a Great bunch of Guys!!Sorrydog

May do that!!! If you get the chance go to South Beach for a night on the town, I can only stand and afford it one night a YEAR!!! These pretty people do it EVERY NITE ALL NITE LONG!!!!! All the resturants are Fabulous including the Cleveland, its on the Strip. The night club of choice is Delanos. Visit it at www.Delanos-hotel.com Can't afford to stay there, but party in the Cabana Club on the beach! Has Bungalos with beds all around the pools with hammocks hanging from the palm trees and the bar is on the beach. All the women are 10's This place is worth at least walking thru the hotel and gardens!!! Have spent te last few new years in the Bahamas or Key West, might do Miami this year!!! Sorrydog

Actually, I most enjoyed the clear floor in the saloon, which lets you stand there and look between your feet at the water passing by. Pretty creepy.

I started to videotape Carl's tour of the boat but the camera stopped because the hard drive was full. I thought it would make a neat post. Sadly, I was so distracted by the pretty waitress that I never figured out how to delete stuff and so never got it to work. Not my camera. Next time, perhaps.

Sdog is a true character, has accomplished amazing things with his boat, and is an excellent companion, as the Brits used to say. Seems to be pretty popular with the ladies, too, although marriage has narrowed him down to just the one.....
