John, What a Wonderful picture of you, your wife and the boat!!! Notice I put you first!!!! FRAME THIS ONE FOR THE MANTEL!!!!! What a great pic. I will have to admit I do sometimes miss the Tenn. hills as shown in the background of your boat. But I do have sand in my shoes down here now and just bought my 80 year old mother a house here. Anyone want to buy her old houses in Oak Ridge, Tenn?? Sorrydog

Sorrydog,
Thanks for putting me 'first'! Fact of the matter is is my wife's name is Merle - notice the boat name! Looks like she is gettng top billing! Was going to name it Mad Dog because that's what they call her at work, but decided against it. ha ha
Clarko,
As far as I know, the split handrail across the transom is the way it came. The factory boarding ladder was installed in the center of the platform and a handgrip/step is installed about halfway up the transom. Previous owner had an anchoring problem and broke the boarding ladder off of the boat when he was blown in to the shore line. I was going to build a replacement, put the price of the cast aluminum steps forced me to rethink it - installed a telescoping folding ladder instead.
