37 footer went for 3500$ if it was only closer what a good fixer upper
and big also. If it was closer I would be tempted to start over and move up from my 28 footer. A steal as long as hull is OK, Engines are cheap if you do the work your self. Had mine out several time, I can pull an engine in a few hours (with set up I have). Trying to decide on which engines to rebuild I have 318 in boat and a couple for parts.
I also have a pair of 360 that are rebuildable. I may stick with 318 as I have a lot of extra parts for them.

Heck it would have been a great deal even if you scrapped it out at $1.13/lb for aluminum. @10,000lbs x $1.13/lb = $11,130 -$3500investment=$7630 profit

I scrapped out an aluminum boat once. They would only take chunks of a certain size, and I had to cut the whole hull up. I still have nightmares involving chainsaws and aluminum.
