Hello all, I want to pull the exaust logs this winter and I'm thinking it would be nice to have a service manual. Did a forum search on the subject without any luck. Found a couple of sources: http://www.hurrikain.com/Chrysler-manuals-inboards.htmhttp://www.marineengine.com/manuals/chrysler/http://www.chrysler-marine.com/manuals.htmModel - M360BXRX0-817 WWJD - What would Jeff do?

Dennis,
I have a PDF copy of a M360 manual that covers the LM340 as well. It's 222 pages (27MB) and covers the engine and various transmission options in great detail.
However, where the exhaust system is concerned there is practically zero information. Nothing more than a couple of paragraphs and some sketches that indicate water flow for fresh water and raw water setups.
If there are some specifics you are looking for from the manual, I could try to copy them for you since the file itself is a bit large for e-mail.
Details on my engine - no rebuild yet, a bit over 1,000 hours, and it still has the original carb.
I know the carb thing makes Jeff crazy, but this one doesn't appear to have been rebuilt and is still doing a good job. Easy starting, no flooding, good on the top end and a solid idle at about 650 RPM. (knock on wood) Power: Chrysler 250 hp M360 Model – M360BWR10-778 Serial Number – E524343 Build Date – 9/26/1979
