Well all last winter the snow load on my boat tarp crushed my JRC 2000 radar array cover and broke the plastic panel which the antena array is mounted. Anyway Gypsy Girl advertized that his Raytheon Radar screen was stolen but they left the array, which was of no use to him now. A price was agreed on and I bought it on the chance it might be the same unit as my JRC as I had heard that JRC makes the Raytheon units and they both had the same power rating. Well even though the electronics were real close the connectors and circuit boards were different enough to prevent a direct swap, but the good news is that the housings were identical as well as the plastic bits including the array panel!

So now when Thunder Bird II is ready for a splash she will be equipped with radar.

Glad it worked out for you,
It was worth the price of not looking at it after all that was stolen.
I still have a beautiful aluminum radar arch , the cabin top pennant mast, huge bulky pilot seat, 40 lbs of left laying wires ,fittings , latches , iron exhaust fittings , 30 + lbs of bilge sludge , and a memory of my mother in law that will haunt me for the remainder of my days.
more later , I need a drink....

Anthony,i thought the arch was gone seemed like everyone wanted it .put a fair price on it and it will be gone.if it's low enough even a poor boy like me might get it.

I sold the arch...agreed anyway for 1200.00 , and loaded it on the truck , strapped in the family , and wasted an entire day of fishing on a sunny saturday driving up to the NJ state line only to have the SOB not show..
It and it's mounting parts now sit in the driveway where my truck should park..
Without a deposit first it will be a yard decoration for Xmas..
I cannot begin to tell you what the gas , food, agrivation, and #### ### #### cost, and I felt, let alone putting the family through that.
