Yes, I saw the step but I'm too tight to spend $86 on 1 step. I'll keep my eye out at the bone yards.

Crazy as it sounds I know this boat. I've inspected the boat a few years ago. Last seen a few weeks ago. She still runs/ looks great and can be seen on the Ohio river near Louisville.

I could swear the 40' Cat in the first picture on the brochure is our boat, in fact the picture looks like it was shot here in Louisville wher the powerlines cross the Ohio near the Louisville Water Co. She now has an FB that the first owner added before we bought it. I'll try to post pics to compare.

I didn't notice this when this topic was new but looking over the specs in the cat's brochure, I see that the weight is listed as 11,000 pounds. Giving my memory the benefit of the doubt, I believe my 32 sedan weighs in at 10,500 pounds. Seems as if the big cat should weigh a little more.

Does seem odd. Mr. Garcia was walking through our marina in the late 80's and went through our boat, commented that there was no way that they could put that much Aluminum in the boats that they were building at the time and still have a margin. FB has certainly added weight to ours.
